About The Confidential Attachées

We are Anna and Marie. Both in our 20s, both students at the Faculty of Humanities at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark. We first met at an organ concert of all places but that didn’t put us out. Soon we found ourselves promenading in the nearby park discussing sculptural representations of lions! We haven’t stopped enjoying each other’s geeky quirkiness ever since.You can write us an e-mail via confidentialattachees@hotmail.com.Lion Facts. Marie: -Born 1983-Has been studying comparative literature since 2001.-Wrote her bachelor of arts project on Danish poet Halfdan Rasmussen, recently wrote a paper on pastiche tendencies in Louisa May Alcott’s pseudonym short story Behind the Mask and is currently exploring the poems of medieval Marie de France as well as Mario Perniola’s theories on a sexualized reification as expressed in The Sex Appeal of the Inorganic.-Minored in theatre studies.-Reviews literature on the University Radio as part of the editorial staff of the literature programme “Tekstur” (since 2005).-Dances classical ballet.-Is dorkily fond of Dynasty (creator of a Dynasty drinking game).-Speaks English, German and French. Anna:-Born 1979-Has been studying history of art since 1999.-Is writing her dissertation in European drawings c. 1750-1810 focusing on the skinless nature of the Swiss artist Fuseli’s studies of the human body. Recent papers were about Goya, and about the relationship between works by Bill Viola and Giotto. Works on paper, specifically illustrations and renaissance drawings are other fields of interest.-Minored in Italian medieval literature and Christian art, music and architecture.-Works in the National Gallery of Denmark, Statens Museum for Kunst, as curatorial assistant (since 2003), previously in the Department of Prints and Drawings, and assisting on last year’s Rembrandt exhibition. Until recently working on an exhibition on French modernist André Derain (February 10th -May 13th, 2007).-Has a large Norwegian Forest cat named Rosina.-Is addicted to travelling and has been living in Rome.-Speaks English and Italian. Is trying to learn French and has sadly forgotten almost all about German.

    Hej Anna og Marie,
    interessant side som man maaske burde holde mere oeje med? Overraskende bemaerkninger, hvor enkelte afviger betragteligt fra hvad der ellers er blevet sagt om vores Cosi.. Man kan og skal jo altid forsoege at videreudvikle sig og jeg vil da tage Jeres kritik til efterretning. Jeg kan dog ikke paastaa, at I paa nogen maade tilhörer flertallet, hvad fx. angaar temaet udtalekritik; det er vist det man i DK for öjeblikket ville kalde “EN Ommer..” (dog uden capisce) – ikke desto mindre vil jeg med interesse foelge Jeres fremtidige gören.     kære Anna,
    tak for fin tilbagemelding. Jeg ser mig desværre ikke i stand til at diskutere en forestilling, der stadig spiller med Jer i et offentligt forum. Det er klart at jeg har mine meninger og ligeledes finder andres, deriblant Jeres, observationer for interessante og vigtige for hele kulurdebatten som sådan. Jeg synes som sagt, at Jeres webblog er et spædende og interresant udspil og ønsker Jer al mulig kraft og mod på fremtiden- også selvom vi måske ikke altid kan være enige- der er vel i i grunden det nødvendige kontrapunkt, der holder operaen i live, eller?
    Jeg glæder mig over Jeres interesse; don’t miss “Die Zauberfløte” på vores teater – jeg er langtfra sikker paa, at den falder i Jeres smag.. ; at den som forestilling er 100% gennemtænkt og stilistisk gennemført kommer man imidlertid ikke udenom: “eine geschmachssache”
